Junior Section Rules

Bagborough Cricket Club

We are fully commited to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of ALL its members. The club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the health, safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with the Head Coach, Junior Co-Ordinator or the clubs Child Welfare Officer, Stewart Collins.

As a junior member of Bagborough Cricket Club you are expected to abide by the junior club rules, as stated below:

                  

ALL members must play within the spirit of the game, the rules of the competition and respect ALL officials and their decisions. all members are bound by the Players Code of Conduct (See Seperate Page).

Members should keep to agreed times for training and competitions AND inform their Coach or Team Manager of their availability or if the are going to be late.

Members must wear suitable kit - Helmets with a face guard (when batting or standing up to the wicket when wicket keeping), an abdominal guard (box), leg guards (pads), batting gloves or extra kit like, thigh pads, arm guards, for training and match sessions, as agreed with the coach/team manager.

Members must pay any annual subscriptions, match fees or training fees promptly. 

Junior members are not allowed to smoke, use drugs or consume alcohol at any time whilst playing for or representing the club at any match or competition.
